Still not sure what that issue was between XFree86 and X.Org but X.org seems to work - configuration is just as difficult as ever...

Notes:
I'm confused by the plethora of spell checking utils - aspell, ispell, espell, whatever. Aspell seems to work well, and is nearly ubiquitous, but always seems to be logging config errors - usually related to locale - still, it works.

Notes:
Not sure about this one yet - just started knowing about it - the Perl::Gtk2 module is used by Zim Desktop Wiki, which I'm very partial to, but ... Does Gtk require X libs to run? I.E. Can I run the Perl::Gtk modules from the server w/ local X desktop?

Love this program - all platforms: unfortunately, the most recent version running on this Toshiba Satellite under OpenSuSE 11.0+ has a real problem: it records at something like "double speed" - that is, the file always plays back 2x even under other s/w
