Another alias problem

There are two user rixed
, one that I created, and another one that gets into the database because of a GIT import. Yet I cannot claim that alias, because the alias page told me that No more aliases can be assigned to this project
. I suppose this is because this page does not found any other name involved in the project than rixed
. The problem is : apparently names are not uniques in the DB.
Any known workaround ?

This portion of the Ohloh UI is horribly confusing, and I am dying to fix it all, but in the meantime you'll have to bear with me through a non-intuitive solution.
It looks like aliases have already been set up in this project to rename all of the various source control names to rixed
. So far, so good.
Now the problem comes in because your account has been set up to be associated with source control committer name Cedric Cellier
, but because of the aliases that name no longer exists. Only rixed
exists. Therefore our system can't connect you with the source control and assumes you are another person.
The solution is to edit your account profile to be associated with rixed
.
You can do this from your account profile page. Click the EDIT link next to the Scambio project listing. This will take you to a form where you can describe your contribution to the project.
On this form, change the Committer Name
to rixed
.
It might take a while for the changes to propagate through the Ohloh system.
Let me know if you still have more troubles, and I'll try to sort it out.

Ok! I just done that and it seams allright now.
There is still another rixed
avatar on the contributors list but, as you said, it needs time to propagate (clicking on it already leads to a page not found
error).
