I downloaded Spybot onto this laptop. Have it on my old computer. It kept flashing messages about registry changes and I didnt understand them and couldnt get them off my screen so I decided to uninstall and reinstall it.
Although I tried to uninstall it from the remove programs area, and although according to the program list remaining, it had been uninstalled, in fact it has not. And no matter how I try I can not do it.. I have a file download
box on the screen that says it is downloading something but it is not and can not be deleted or closed out no matter how I try. Right clicking shows the istool.org address which has lead me to you.
How the heck do I get this off my screen and more importantly uninstall Spybot?
I am running on WinXP.
would appreciate info before I go quite mad with frustration. I am not techie at all!
Hi Jimsbairn,
Sorry to hear about your XP troubles. Unfortunately this isn't the right place to get help - we're pretty far from Windows experts here. Maybe the SpyBot FAQ can help you?
