I think I'm going to get back into mapping. I'll have to find some inspiration first, but then I'll do it. Maybe I'll encourage myself by trying to do a level per week.

I have this doubt a very long time ago, why it is called "neverball" Neverball. "Ball" is very simple, the game elapses in a ball but ¿why never? (nunca) sure many of you should know and think I'm ignorant middle but do not really understand the "never ball"...

"+ More Levels" would be the title of a new option neveball, my idea is to place the end of all sets a square where we transport to the web address where unofficial sets is found, and will be able to be placed and decargados. This idea of long ago ... [More] when I was looking for these in internet and found nothing, that is easily accessible and they will know players that there are more levels to play and they can also manufacturalos.   Image detailing my idea, I put a green 255 that think would good, would have to put a good description ... I hope you like this idea. [Less]

Take the fact that I committed them as my part in the discussion.I don't wish to dwell on decisions that have already been made or hold an opinion on something that was likely well ... [More] intentioned, but can I ask that next time we initiate a little more discussion before making changes to the Master branch? Even that I don't have so much of an issue with, but the fact that there was little time for community feedback before releasing the changes in 1.6.0 could make us look sloppy if we decide to revert the changes. I know that I haven't been around really for a while, so I can't really profess to ask that my opinion had been taken into consideration, but I believe that the people that have been around should have a stake in providing feedback.I suggest that perhaps in the future we can use the Github pull request model that I use where I work, where at least 2 other community members +1 it before it makes it into the Master. This would also allow me (and others) to be notified that we should look at something and be a part of things (which *I* am more likely to do if get an email, especially when I'm super busy...). Part of the reason that I have not been more involved lately with the community is just being busy and not remembering to check the forums, not for a lack of interest. Having this pull request model I think would help foster community involvement, and could be a more practical approach to making sure that our codebase is well vetted. (maybe we should have a new thread on this...) [Less]

Go grab it from neverball.org!You'll find a news announcement and the release notes over there, too.

Wow. Mere hours before what is supposed to be the 1.6.0 release date, the main coin texture that had been stable for, like, a decade is suddenly replaced without so much as a prior announcement, let alone a discussion?

Bonjour tout le monde,Hello everybody,I just recieved a Neverball t-shirt and a card with wonderful things on them :-)I was really moved reading your words on the card, thank you so much for this great gift. I'll try to post a photo with me and the ... [More] t-shirt in a couple of days. It's been a looong time since I last checked in the forums or even play Neverball, but all those years contributing and interacting with you remains one of my best memories ever. I hope you're all doing well.PS: As always, sorry for my approximate English. I hope it has improved a bit since my last post here [Less]

I have done some testing on the Windows nightly with Gaelic language, and I have run into 2 problems:1. The blue and read coins aren't localized, they still show the $ symbol, while the normal coins show the £ symbol.2. The text for "Time's up" ... [More] doesn't fit the screen in 800x600 resolution. I have already shortened it as much as I can. Can we make the font a bit smaller?Screenshots attached. [Less]

While I was looking at the German translation one more time I noticed that the last replay recorded is called "Last", which is apparently not translatable? (Also the other replays are, by default, named after the English name of the set. The same ... [More] goes for the ball models.)I don't think this is a big issue, but maybe there is a quick fix?By the way the link to the Windows build appears to be broken. [Less]

Some time ago the CHANGES file was moved out of the project root folder and into the doc/ folder, and yesterday a new set of version specific release notes were added (which I love). This isn't a bad move and it's nice to have a cleaner root.It does ... [More] however, make the release notes harder for the casual observer to spot. In my opinion, they're fairly important (particularly for the sorts of people who'll be grabbing and compiling sources, like downstream packagers).Without knowing what the longer term plans are - and this presents the perfect opportunity for those to be discussed - I'd like to propose the following:* That we link to the release notes from the README.md as we do install.txt, authors.txt and the like.* That we include the Highlights content from the release notes in the README.md (I'm not a fan of duplication, but it feels like it's worth leading with some notable changes).* That if the plan is to have one release notes document per release, that the current release have a common name/path and that file get renamed to match its version number when the next version's release notes are written (this makes linking to it easier).* That if the old changes.txt is to be retired, a working replacement for the website's rendering of changelogs be in place prior to the upcoming release. Finally, a personal niggle, I have to ask what the rationale is for putting exclamation marks on some items and not others (I spotted this when I went to add/remove list item periods for consistency). I'd agree that some items are more exciting than others, but that's a personal perspective and I'd prefer to leave that for readers to decide for themselves. [Less]
