Feedback Forum : Ohloh is confused by a dual authorship of a Bzr changeset

Abhay, As you can see in the screenshot below taken from the repo's commit list, r9 has Seb Sauvage as the author, and r10 has me Emilien Klein. I am the committer of both changesets. The Ohloh ... [More] commits page shows me as author of both changesets. When I run the command you mentionned, I get this output [extract]: revno: 9 author: Seb Sauvage committer: Emilien Klein revno: 10 [merge] committer: Emilien Klein So revision 9 is wrongly displayed. Technical Issue Help : Contributors credited incorrectly for projects hosted in Bazaar

Sorry to dig this topic back up, but apparently there has been a regression for this fix. If you look at the contributors for Shaarli I am listed as the sole contributor, while I am mainly the ... [More] commiter. See the original branch for yourself: Committer: Emilien Klein Author(s): Seb Sauvage The author should be getting the credit and be listed as the contributor. This might be Bazaar specific, but I guess other [D]VCS have this option to specify an author that's different than the commiter. And FYI, the original project for which I reported the issue is affected by this issue again. I haven't done any real commits here myself, just as a proxy for the author which is specified in the commit. [Less]

Technical Issue Help : 960gs failed about 1 year ago

Thanks, the original editor must have had that mixed up. Or maybe they changed since the first time it was entered in Ohloh?

Technical Issue Help : Mostly written in JavaScript? My project is mostly Python...

You're right, I haven't included Dojo on purpose, but since Lighbox needs configuration in their file, it's included in the repo. And since they include prototype.js, that's a lot of JS code (4000+ ... [More] lines) I suppose your filterin/ignoring functionality would be a great thing in this type of cases... Thanks for taking the time to check that. At least there is no bug in Ohcount from what we can see... ;) [Less]

Technical Issue Help : download failure

Thanks! Wouldn't it be easier if you added some kind of button on the enlistment page, to signal a failed download? That way you could monitor that directly from your admin panel, instead of having to receive that info from the forums?

Technical Issue Help : download failure

Unfortunately I am not involved with the sudo repository, so I can't tell you more about that... I just encountered the project on Ohloh and saw that something was wrong... Thanks for your reply anyway!

Suggestions for Ohloh 2.0 : Provide Markdown Syntax help for new topics

Actually, this would also be necessary when editing a message. I have just had the occasion to test this: I had written a message in which I put an url, thinking that it would be linkified ... [More] automatically. When the message got displayed, it was just text, so I click on the edit link. But from there I had no help message telling me how to linkify an url. I had to open another tab, navigate back to the mesage to see the Markdown help section that appears down a discussion... It would really be useful if this help section was available both from new messages and from the edit pages. Thanks! [Less]
