Please let me know at what point it is reasonable to ping in the forums about projects being stale. Not knowing any better, I've chosen >7 days.
Currently the following projects that I am heavily involved with are oven 7 days stale:
Chandler,
Generally, I would have even suggested a tighter schedule, but for now things are a little behind and everybody's experiencing delays. That said, I'll push a little on the four and see what we can do to motivate the lazy electrons.
Thanks!
Chandler,
LLDB added 43 commits.
LLVM added 43 commits on the latest update and added an astounding 563 commits three days ago on the other enlistment.
Clang added 33 commits today and added 382 commits 2 days ago on the other enlistment.
libc++ added 43 commits just now and the new enlistment fetched 309 total commits.
Let me know here if any of these projects goes astray again.
Thanks!
I've got the same issue with my projects
Same problem with https://www.openhub.net/p/languagetool - last update 24 days ago...
Same problem with https://www.openhub.net/p/GADSOS - last update 25 days ago ...
Thanks
Niels,
I am forcing updates on the three projects.
Daniel and Ron,
Have applied a little bit of keyboard grease and will check in tomorrow morning Eastern US to see what slides.
Thanks!
Thank you!
Hi,
same problem with https://www.openhub.net/p/mathmod (last update 25 days ago)
Thanks
Hi, I have similar problems with https://www.openhub/p/octave. The main repository has been queued for about 7 weeks.
Thanks
David,
A single failed update 48 days ago hung the project... abort: unknown revision
(the system gets confused...) I'll re-fetch this enlistment and see where that takes us.
Thanks!
Abderrahman,
MathMod is now up-to-date. It had been waiting for an update which was just not getting any attention. Applied a little push and it added 8 commits.
Thanks!
Daniel,
LanguageTool is now up-to-date.
Ron,
Glad to be of help.
Niels,
All three projects are updated as of 13 hours ago.
Thanks to all!
David,
The re-fetch on GNU Octave finished OK (19008 total commits). This leaves a bunch of out-of-date enlistments from June 26, 2014 or later. I have forced an update which may take a while in the current environment. I'll report back here when I see that the project has finished.
Thanks!
David,
Update has finished about 2 hours ago and GNU Octave is now up-to-date.
Please let me know here if problems show up again.
Thanks!
Most things seem to have resumed updating. But not yet nano, it was last fetched over a month ago: link.
Benno,
Found an error. Rescheduled the update which finished OK (55 added commits). Analysis is now at August 20, 2014 on code collected on August 20, 2014 and last commit is at August 10, 2014.
Please let me know here if problems show up again.
Thanks!
LLDB updated when you poked it 10 days ago, but hasn't since then. Same for llvm-libcxx. The others seem to be updating better...
Chandler,
The hurrier I go, the behinder I get...
Will check and report back.
Thanks!
Chandler,
Took a little prod but both projects look to be up-to-date now. LLDB got 80 added commits and llvm-libcxx got 5/30 added commits.
Please update me here if the projects hang up again.
Thanks!
6 pays pass, and a different set of projects have fallen behind: LLVM, Clang, and LLD are now over 7 days old.
I feel like you manually bumping these projects up isn't addressing some underlying issue -- they keep falling behind. And I suspect me pestering you on the forums every 6 days to get a subset to be updated isn't the best way for me to help provide feedback and improve the service.
Suggestions?
util-linux 10 days, core-utils 10 days, e2fsprogs 18 days...
Something seems to be stuck again.
Chandler and Benno,
Acknowledged. The time-between-updates has been all over the lot lately. I have reason to be encouraged but an administrator has only so many powers and I use them to push along the projects while the management folks try to get this site in tune. There are good things on the horizon, I suspect, but for now I wait with you.
Will push on these as possible.
Thanks!
