The source code for View3D has now been fixed so that it can be built on Windows using MSYS/MinGW and scons. This was tested with the gtk.org packages for GTK+ 2.14.7 ('bundle'). If you need any help with building View3D on Windows, please contact John Pye. We haven't yet made a file release but hope to do so in the near future.
