Managed to implement a simple daap server, so a DAAP (Music Sharing) plugin is on the way.
Rather than use existing server a new one was created which means it will be nicely integrated into the server interface, but can also run as a standalone command line daemon.

Tested usm on debian lenny and it works fine, i have also been testing deployment of usm through ssh to debian and ubuntu to quickly setup extra servers, or to replace an aging server.

The server now has a demo mode which allows people to test the interface with out making changes to the underlying server, hopefully soon we will have a demo link on the site.

Basically this project has one developer who is working on everything so progress is very slow, a lot of progress has been made but could do with more developers and in particular graphics designers translators etc to help move things along.

A new plugin is in development that can control mediatomb and be used in place of the mediatomb web interface for adding folders and modifying the configuration.

Because of Problems with the previous hosting and lack of memory causing white pages, the entire site has been migrated to a new virtual server which should result in a more reliable and consistent service.
