We have been enjoyed the quality and easy to use of SolrNet for our job search engine over the last few months.
If you fancy to see SolrNet in action, take a look at our job search engine at http://jobhits.co.uk. With over 200,000 open jobs, query time for a single search is just well under 100ms.
The .NET sample project in Solr.NET, which uses MVC framework, is very good to start with. I would say you can build our own custom search engine in 30 minutes with basic understanding of Solr.
Code quality is great, we haven't got any problem with 0.2.1 or 0.2.2.
