After over a year of in activity, the GNE Team has finally reorganized, and decided to restart our flagship project: Precursors. We changed the name slightly (Requiem for Innocence: Precursors) and we restarted the code base over from scratch. This ... [More] will let us build Precursors as a networked application from the ground up. We're very happy with the changes we've made, and we're quite confident that Precursors can now move forward, reaching a playable state in about 18 months. It'll be quite a task to get it there, but we're up to the challenge. The fact is, Precursors is what we're passionate about. We'll be passionate about other games in the future as well, but as of right now, we've put too much into Precursors' design to just toss it to the side. [Less]

Recently there have been many hard decisions the development team of Precursors has had to make. One of the toughest ones has been to put Precursors on hold. This doesn't mean that it's canceled, but it does mean that it's not going to be receiving ... [More] the brunt of development. We do plan on going back to Precursors, but most likely it will be at least another year, if not two, before we do. If you are interested in continuing work on Precursors, feel free to contact us. If there's enough people interested, we might be willing to setup a second development team. For now, however, Precursors is officially on hold. [Less]
Updated Roadmap

We went through and finally updated the Roadmap to show our plans for the next few releases. We've been hard at work on RaptorNL recently, which we'll need in order to finish the next Precursors milestone. Also, this page has now replaced the original Precursors homepage.

Finally, kashmir.g33xnexus.com is live, and kicking. This means you can now use it for svn checkouts. :)

As of today, we've moved to our new server, kashmir. If you're actually reading this, that means you've probably already heard. The Trac page and Subversion repository for Precursors have been moved to the server, which will also be used for ... [More] testing the new dedicated server application for Precursors. Currently, we've had some DNS issues, but in the next few days we expect to have them sorted out. When that happens, you will be able to use "http://games.g33xnexus.com/precursors" to reach this site, and the old site will be archived, but removed. Also, you will be able to use kashmir.g33xnexus.com for subversion checkouts. [Less]
