One more half an year, one more major release - OpenSIPS 1.8.0 beta release is outOpenSIPS 1.8.0 comes with several major improvements (dialog support, TCP, security and validation), but also with new functionalities (like CacheDB Interface - REDIS/CASSANDRA, DNS caching, SIPcapturing, RabbitMQ support, LUA support, etc).

The OpenSIPS project has a new official APT repository, more dynamic and complex: - Debian and Ubuntu, arch i386 and amb64. - OpenSIPS versions 1.6, 1.7, trunk (latest versions of these branches).
