Project Summary

Modelica is an object-oriented, domain-specific modeling language designed to allow convenient, component-oriented modeling of complex systems, e.g., systems containing mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, thermal, control, electric power or process-oriented subcomponents.

The goal of the OpenModelica project is to create a complete Modelica modeling, compilation and simulation environment based on free software distributed in binary and source code form.
