This support also requires MathPlayer 4 beta to be installed, optionally along with MathType (for access to math in Microsoft Word and Powerpoint). Both of these can be downloaded from the Design Science website. You can read Design Science's news announcement as well. This new support allows the NVDA user to read mathematical content in a meaningful way via speech, and also in Nemeth Braille via a Braille display. There is a new math navigation mode added to NVDA which allows you to navigate within the mathematical content, moving through the content in a logical fashion, with the ability to zoom in and out of fractions, parentheses and other logical groups. When positioned on math content, this mode can be activated by pressing NVDA+alt+m. If you find any bugs with this new support, please provide comments on Trac ticket #4673. [Less]
