LectorA graphical ocr solution for GNU/Linux based on Python, Qt4 and Tesseract OCR.
Author: Davide Setti
IntroductionLector lets you select areas on which you want to do OCR. Then you can run tesseract-ocr on them by a simple click on a button. The read text can be modified directly in Lector.
Finally the work can be saved in RTF.
It's not possible to use a scanner directly yet; you have to use Kooka or something similar, save an image (png, tiff, ...) and then load that.
