It has been some time since the last news posting, and the development had partially stalled. So I'm proud to say that 0.5.7.7 is the latest, planned, release of the over a year old 0_5_7_x branch. With this, development will now be focused on 0.5.8 ... [More] which should soon (read month) be released. Both releases address some glitches which have been piling up for some time now. There will probably be a version 0.5.9 which will introduce some changes, moving the auth and js parsing code to plugins. This will be the first step to use other, more stable, APIs to get the data. 0.6.0 should be the first version with a port for KDE4, but KDE3 will still be supported for a while. A survey will soon be available so please keep checking the website and answer it! :D On another subject, the code is no longer hosted here at SourceForge. The new location is a git repository at alioth (Debian's equivalent of SourceForge), and the code browser can be found at: http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-kde/kde-extras/kcheckgmail.git The tracker, forums, download site, mailing lists, etc (a.k.a. everything but the VCS) will remain here at SourceForge. Last but not least, keep the feedback on, and don't forget to tell your friends about KCheckGMail! [Less]
