Project Summary

Calling Perl's in-built system() command is easy, but capturing and interpreting errors from it can be very hard indeed!

IPC::System::Simple aims to make capturing and processing errors from system() and backticks as easy as possible, with excellent diagnostics provided on failure, and no external dependencies.

IPC::System::Simple is particularly useful for system administration tasks, as unsual conditions such as core dumps, signals, and unexpected exit statuses can be easily captured.
