Hi Davide - sorry for the late response. After some searching I found a JSE V13 download site. I fell into the trap of believing the Oracle standard "general public" downloader message that V8 / Update 261 really is current... I really appreciate FidoCadJ - superb, small and efficient - ideal for small to medium size projects...

Hello, FidoCadJ requires at least Java 9. You must install a more recent version, 8 is not enough. While I am writing those lines, the last version is Java 14 and it is the version I used to develop version 0.27.8, it should work just fine. Cheers, D.

Hi Davide - same effect here. OS is W10 64B and Java just updated to jre-8u261 today, nothing newer available for Windows. Error message: is "A JNI error has occurred, please check your installation and try again"

i had installed the program of fidocadj successfully, when I try to open it, it appears a window that ask me to instaled java. then, i did it, it works. but, when i try to open the fidocadj application again, it also says, error a jne error

Ciao Luigi, credo che la soluzione più semplice sia di installare un JDK versione 14 (è l'ultima versione disponibile al momento in cui scrivo). Un buon posto da cui partire per trovare il download dovrebbe essere qui: https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/javase-downloads.html Dimmi se funziona! Cordialità, D.

Ciao Davide, vorrei provare la nuova versione di FidoCADJ per Windows, 0.24.8, ma noto che il requisito minimo èJava 9. Il problema è che la versione più recente del Java Runtime Environment disponibile sul sito ufficiale: https://www.java.com/it/download/ è la 8 Update 261. Dove trovo la versione 9? Ciao, Luigi

Hello Axel, No, unfortunately it is not possible to run FidoCadJ 0.24.8 with Java 1.8. If version 0.24.7 is slow with Linux, try to hide the grid, it seems that it is the culprit in the vast majority of situations. There is a button under the toolbar
