New Review |
The flash drive reader gizmo on my new car doesn't understand directories at all, so my handy dandy music collection ended up dumped in some gigantic massive heap under Unknown, playing every first track from every album, then every second track, etc.
The way to fix that, it turns out, is to go edit the tag thingies stored in the files. EasyTag fits the bill very nicely. In just a few minutes of pottering around, I was able to begin to restore some real order to the train wreck. I know practically nothing about how any of this works under the hood, and no knowledge is required to get the job done.
I call that easy, and I call EasyTag a success at its stated mission. It worries about the tag thingies for me, and provides intuitive tools for manipulating whole collections of them quickly and simply, so I can spend my time yelling at kids to get off my lawn and shaking my neck beard at them.
