Cryptocat is susceptible to cross-site scripting in an unspecified component. This vulnerability does not appear to be widely reported, and links to the original references are now dead. Allegedly fixed in [**2.0.22**], but as the project does not maintain branches in its repository, nor does it tag releases, nor is there any technical information about the nature of the vulnerability, this is impossible to verify.
