Mutabor

Since BerliOS is closing its developer platform, Mutabor needs a new project hosting site. Since BerliOS and SourceForge provide a limitied conversion service the project follows path that involves the minimal interaction.

The MCM 2013 release has improved MIDI support. MIDI files are generated with global time base in type 0 format. A big challenge remains a good MIDI merging and splitting code, as MIDI usually doesn't provide feedback, also this topic has been improved. Additionally some bugs have been fixed.

After huge changes a new beta version of the dynamic MIDI microtuner Mutabor has been released. This release includes some major code restructuring effords. Finally, the decition is made: the new Mutabor version will be called 4.0. So all pre-releases will be numbered 4.0.something. The current version is named 4.0.0beta1. The major version has been changed in order to describe the huge internal differences between 3.0 and the current state as well as the changed user experience. With the implementation of a new editor, all functions of Mutabor 3.0 should be availlable in 3.1. This is the time to change the status into beta. This means the software should be usable but might still contain some errors. The more people are ... [More] using Mutabor, the more errors can be found and the faster the final release state can be reached. Against 3.0 everything except the logic box code has changed. In the logic code a bug has been found, preventing correct execution of statements following a branch statement. Other improvements contain a more eye friendly patch panel with changed dialogs and a new editor. All this has been accompanied with the development of platform independent code which is known to run on Linux, Mac OS X and Windows. [Less]

A first reference manual of the mutabor language has been released. It is a rough translation of the German reference manual. Improvements are welcome.

This file has been released together with Mutabor 3. It contains some common and some strange tunings to allow the users to play with Mutabor without having to develop a tuning himself.
