Project Summary

The District Health Information Software (DHIS) is targeting the collection and analysis of statistical information at all levels of the health administrations, from clinic to transnational level.

The software project was started by the global Health Information Systems Programme(HISP) network, with affiliates in a number of countries in Africa, Asia and Europe. HISP was initiated in 1994 by the University of Oslo, Norway and the University of Western Cape, South Africa.
