The OpenTag License is permissive and similar to the popular BSD license in most respects. It is compatible with licenses with which the BSD license is compatible. It was originally developed for OpenTag, a protocol stack for ISO 18000-7.
It is a ROSS license, which means "RAND Open Source Software," as it is intended to serve open source works that implement ISO standardized specifications, as these have RAND terms. OpenTag licensed works may be effectively FOSS, depending on the management of the ISO standard.
