I have never been a Linux-Fan. I just liked Windows for it's usability. BSOD's? Relics from 9x! Old technology? Well 15 years, look at Linux cloned from almost 40 years old Unix technology. Security issues? Stupid users are the cause of this. Proprietary Software? Here ReactOS comes into place. Sharing the solid and modern design of the NT series and with it the Win32 subsystem, with the goal to make 99% of all available software work on an open source platform. Yeah still some way to go, but already gone a huge part of the way with few developers. Getting nearer to modern Windows versions from day to day. It takes long? Well 10 years of development is not so much. Linux took 17 years for it's current state (having a huge number of developers currently), and ReactOS is still focused on current technology (Windows XP/2003/Vista)
