Hi, for many projects the activity month-by-month varies quite a lot. Either due to being influenced a lot by release cycles or that a few members do most of the work (in varying amounts). To make it ... [More] easier to understand the general trends, it would be nice to have averages superimposed on the graphs for comitters/commits-per-month. For projects > 5 years it could be a 6 month running-average, and for younger projects a 3-month average. [Less]

Thanks for quick reponse! I don't think you need to do it automatically. Just like other information about the project like license, repositories, et.c. the project maintainers can add the ... [More] information themselves. Or maybe any user could add it and the maintainers on Ohloh can approve it. Most of the incentive for adding such information might be in a maintainer of one project wanting to add that another project is based on it. [Less]

Open source hackers typically use some other social website for journaling what they do, typically blogging and/or microblogging. Allowing one to add one or more RSS feeds for being displayed, and ... [More] Twitter/Identi.ca feeds, would be more useful that requiring people to write in their Ohloh journal separately. [Less]

Ohloh API Discussion : How do I get a person's no of commits?

Ideally I'd like to be able to get a graph for a person/contributor similar to that off a project. To be able to see how the commits per month developers, number of lines of code contributed in different languages, et.c
