Besides http://www.postgresrocks.com/, take a look at http://www.wikivs.com/wiki/MySQL_vs_PostgreSQL.
PostgreSQL leaves MySQL in the mud. Yahoo uses PostgreSQL for a two-Petabyte database (http://glinden.blogspot.com/2008/05/yahoo-builds-two-petabyte-postgresql.html). What more do you want?
The Pods Framework is a must-have for entering and displaying any object-oriented data in Wordpress in an organized manner. You can use it to showcase products, list team members, manage partners etc. An object is simply a collection of fields; for example, a "team member" object will have a name, bio, photo and, say, join date. Then anyone can add new team members via a simple form, and you can display members via simple shortcodes. No programming experience required, but if you can code PHP, Pods puts a rich API at your disposal.
While FF is a capable browser, every new version makes Firefox slower and slow. Bugs that are YEARS old don't get fixed (skipping while playing Youtube videos, for example, or a half-decent bookmark manager).
If it weren't for the plugins, I'd use Opera.
