I'm trying to finish up graduate school in physics. My main expertise is not in coding, though I have a fair idea of the general way that computers work. I have, however, actually written a program in the L33t programming language. :^)

I have had great experiences with the social dynamic at Burning Man. I think that the free software movement embodies a lot of the ideals that Burning Man promotes. For instance, OSS seems to fit the BM ideal of a gift economy.
