The Freenet Project

  Analyzed 2 months ago

Freenet is a peer-to-peer network designed to allow the distribution of information over the Internet in an efficient manner, without fear of censorship. It is completely decentralized (there is no person or computer essential to its operation), meaning that Freenet cannot be attacked like ... [More] centralized peer-to-peer systems such as Napster. Freenet also employs intelligent routing and caching to learn to route requests more efficiently, automatically mirror popular data, make network flooding almost impossible, and move data to where it is in greatest demand. pyMarkdown Minisite

  No analysis available

pyMarkdown Minisite allows you to quickly create simple but nice looking websites. To create a website you just write plain text documents in Markdown syntax with .mdwn as file suffix. The script then parses these files and adds an index file (if you create an "index.mdwn" file, it uses that as ... [More] index instead), as well as date tags, backlinks and a simple design. When you update it, only the date tags on changed pages get updated, so each date tag shows when the page was last updated. All the created html files get put into a "static" folder which you can directly upload to an ftp server. That way creating a simple website can be done in just the amount of time you need for writing its content which makes pyMM a good fit for writing the documentation for your latest little tool. wisp: whitespace-to-lisp

  Analyzed 2 months ago

„I love the syntax of Python, but crave the simplicity and power of Lisp.“ wisp is a whitespace to lisp converter. Essentially it just adds brackets for indentation to allow writing lisp with indentation senstitive syntax. Example: define : hello-world display "Hello World!"
