Hey guys,
what about adding some control files for ohloh to the repositories root:
ohloh.ignore:
.js ext/
ohloh.languages:
*.phtml=PHP
*.pl=Perl
etc..
That would help in analyzing the projects.
Regards,
Arno
The idea of a robots.txt-like file has been knocking around for a while, and I'm keen to implement it when we've got some time.
But I must admit this is the first time I can recall someone proposing that we use the control file to declare source file languages. That's very clever, and we'll definitely add that to the list.
Great :-)
Did you read my suggestion about having a ohloh.externals file?
This could link projects together, so you could know which projects uses XYZ as a component.
Being able to ignore /lib/ would make my project stats much more accurate; currently around 50% of the LOC is third party...
