Octave's main repo failing

I don't know what the problem is. Too big of a clone? A problem with the gnulib subrepository?

You don't need the gnulib repository to just analyze the history, btw. You could change the hg clone command to hg clone --noupdate in order to avoid getting the gnulib subrepo.

Jordi,

At this point, all I can do is re-fetch the repository. Will report back if it runs into issues or if it succeeds. Can't really tinker with the scripts that run the fetches anyway. The errors I was seeing just suggest a confused snapshot of the repository trying to deal with changes it can't get access to any more. Generally a re-fetch clears things up (at the cost of time). Standby. I'll get back with any news.

Thanks!
