Hello, I just noted on project I am working on for years, that I cannot chose multiple commiters as myself. In case of FLTK for an example, we (FLTK team) switched to Subversion few years ago. Before that we used CVS and i commited as leka
. Now, in Subversion, I am using another username, dejan
, when I commit changes.
I personally think it is unfair to insist on only one commiter per project because there are reasons, one of them explained above, why a SINGLE PERSON can use multiple accounts.
Ohloh is really great (i love statistics) and I think fixing this problem would make it even better.
Kind regards
Dejan Lekic
Hi dejan,
you can just set leka
to be an alias of dejan
. In the next updated, the metrics for both accounts will be aggregated as dejan
, thus added to your personal contributions
