Speed Dreams project failed
Step 3 of 3: Counting lines of source code (Failed about 4 hours ago.)
BeagleJoe,
The issue is Inconsistent line ending style
(mixed linux-style [LF] and DOS-style [CR-LF] endings) within the commit logs at r4229. There are administrative tools that will allow that to be fixed. Please let me know when it's resolved and I can re-fetch the enlistment.
Thanks!
BeagleJoe,
I had also forgotten that we have visited this problem before with this project since late 2011 with no resolution.
Thanks!
Thanks for the quick reply. I will look into commit log issue.
BeagleJoe,
The error message we're getting is direct from subversion. Last time, we met some resistance from project management. Messing with the repository on such an elemental level can be scary. The emphasis on backups is wise since this isn't a standard
procedure. At best, this is a work-around. I can't comment on the amount of effort it will take... It certainly isn't trivial for sure.
Thanks!
