One from latest commits in our project (Stellarium) has changes in JSON file but ohloh not detected source code in this file - https://www.ohloh.net/p/stellarium/commits/235973271
Can anyone look at source of issue?
Thanks in advance, Alex
Any news?
Alexander,
I see what you are describing but I'm not sure we are able to detect JSON as source code. The detection code is open-source and you can check it out at https://github.com/blackducksw/ohcount
Let me know if you see something that is lacking and I'll pass it on or please submit a pull request.
Otherwise I'll pass on the note and we'll see if someone else has an idea.
Thanks!
Hi,
some time ago on this page: http://meta.ohloh.net/2013/01/release-3-january-2013/ was wrote Added .json as an extension mapped to JavaScript language
. :)
I just want know - this is issue or counter not count our project yet.
Thanks!
Alexander,
That was a miscommunication. We didn't merge that patch. Comments/reasons are captured on the pull request - https://github.com/blackducksw/ohcount/pull/15
Sorry about the confusion.
Abhay,
Should I add new patch for mapping .json extension to JavaScript language? Just I know why that patch has been closed and from blog post I thinking that .json already mapped to JavaScript language.
Thanks!
Alexander,
I mentioned in the pull request comment that JSON is used primarily as a serialization format. And because of this reason, I am not 100% sure about mapping .json extension to JavaScript.
Thanks
