Question about time period between code analysis of Debian GNU/Linux project

Hi,

Debian GNU/Linux project was analysed 10 days ago based on code collected 10 days ago. Is this normal or something went wrong? All other projects which I saw were updated not more than 3 days ago. And there are no visible errors during scanning of Debian repositories:

Could you check it?

Thanks

Boris,

Funny you should ask... I happen to be monitoring that project just now. There is one particular enlistment which has failed due to an incorrect repository address. I have replaced that with what I thought was the correct address. Now that I have your ear, I'll send you an e-mail asking you to confirm or change the address I chose.

Ordinarily the update cycle is around 3 days or less but, of course, with 974 enlistments, this is hardly your garden-variety project... I do urge caution since greatly increasing the number of enlistments disproportionately affects the stability of a project. So far, so good but I've been spending the last couple of days intervening in numerous minor glitches with the Debian project.

Stand by... I'll get you that e-mail right away.

Thanks!

Hi,

Thank you for a quick reply.

There is one particular enlistment which has failed due to an incorrect repository address.

Hmm, it is pity that one broken enlistment can break whole scan process. But some text notification should be added on page in this case I think. So any user will be able to fix the problem.

Now that I have your ear, I'll send you an e-mail asking you to confirm or change the address I chose.

As I see in [1] you chose correct branch of this git repo.

Ordinarily the update cycle is around 3 days or less but, of course, with 974 enlistments, this is hardly your garden-variety project...

Yes, I see. But Debian is a big project with many separate repositories. And I cannot do anything with this.

Best regards,
Boris

Boris,

The indication of trouble (for now...) is on the enlistments page but, of course, there are 98 pages of enlistments now. The filter function does help to narrow it down. I'm not sure if you could use the API to query for status of the enlistments. That could result in a useful tool. Something to think about...

I'll report back here once I have news on the progress of that repository.

Thanks!

Boris,

Initial fetch of the new enlistment is finished. Cleared a couple of additional glitches and analysis is now under way. Will report back when it's done...

Thanks!

Boris,

Latest update finished OK 35 minutes ago. Analysis is now at October 05, 2012 on code collected on October 05, 2012 and last commit is at October 05, 2012 - about 13 hours ago.

Please remind me here if the project goes astray again.

Thanks!
