I think it would be nice to have a feature exactly like the License dropdown, project member will be able to add a Security certificate owner through a dropdown menu, VeriSign, Comodo, Thawte, GoDaDDy, etc, I believe there is a lot of providers but not that many to make the option impossible to introduce
I pay for a 3 years certificate just for code signing I think it is not useless to mention on a project homepage, can make the decision in a few cases.
Nor the users submits its public key, and your script extracts the providers informations, could be a simpler and more portable development
