One enlistment failure blocks other enlistments from being updated?

Hi there,

on the kolab project, one enlistment has failed once (http://git.kolab.org/roundcubemail-plugins-kolab/ master), and it seems the other enlistments are now also not updated.

The underlying issue has been fixed, so I'm wondering if it needs some sort of nudging.

I know it's only 11 days since the last failure, but it used to update every 3-5 days normally.

Jeroen,

Seems about right - will investigate now. Nudge is my middle name (along with knuckle, elbow and drop-kick...)

Thanks!

Thanks Mr. ssnow nudge blackduck, I can see things moving already!

Jeroen,

Glad to see things are responding. The absolute maximum time between updates should be three days and depending on the activity in the repositories it could be as little as 8 hours. Only thing that could impact that would be long update times which could add on to that. I don't show any previous reports of failure with this project so whatever was wrong self-corrected. I like those (nothing for me to do) but it still gets folks upset..

Will report back here once the project finishes - whoops... I see it is.

Rescheduled the hung update which finished OK (3 added commits). An update of the remaining enlistments started immediately and also finished OK. Analysis page is at May 14 2012 and last commit is at 2012-05-13 (about 17 hours ago).

Please be sure you remind me here if the project stalls again.

Thanks!

Jeroen,

Ooh!

Bribes!

Cool!

Jeroen,

I have escalated this project along with two others to management. They are all stubbornly refusing to come up to date. A little strange.

I'll update you here when I know more.

Mystery is keeping me awake; coffee not so much.

Thanks!

Thanks for your efforts!

I noticed an RSS feed was unavailable - while it hadn't stopped the project from being updated before, I did remove the RSS feed just to be on the all's good on our side safe side.

Also, may I add that it seems that the project fails updating since the apparent new Ohloh web ui is in force?

The current status would be, that while the source code management repositories apparently have been updated, the code analysis seems to not have been.

Again, thanks for helping me out on this.

Please tell me here if the project stumbles again.

Thanks!

Marc,

The stalled enlistment failed with a confused sigh. I started a re-fetch which finished OK (1528 total commits). An update of the remaining enlistments started immediately and also finished OK. Analysis is now at November 22, 2013 on code collected on November 22, 2013 and last commit is at November 22, 2013 - about 1 hour ago.

Please tell me here if the project stumbles again.

Thanks!

Hi ssnow-blackduck,

Project source code updates have stalled again, can you help?

Jeroen van Meeuwen over 10 years ago

Jeroen,

It was an internal error here... Have set up the conditions where the updates should resume OK but will monitor and get back to you when they do.

Thanks!
