wow, I can do basic operation on this site again. It has recently been almost unusable; after claiming contributions I wanted to edit the positions (the new quick claim
is REALLY annoying as I have to do it in 3 instead of 2 steps now) but couldn't due to the nginx errors.
Did you have technical problems; are they solved? Or is that unknown?

Confidentially (shhhh - don't tell anyone) I see those errors myself on occasion and I'm in the same building with the darn servers! It has gotten better for me recently since some adjustments have been made and there is less unnecessary traffic required for the proper operation behind-the-scenes. Still it can be annoying. The folks in management here are quite aware of the issue and I'm sure they are thinking about it. (I've never been a shrinking violet when complaining about things...)
