my project has been registered by someone else (a bot?)

Someone already added my project to ohloh. I would like to be able to register my project, but it is impossible because of that fake registration by an inactive unknown guy.

What can I do?

This bot was the Ohloh Data Crawler, a bot which was (or still is) used by this site to find new projects. That's alright and nothing unusual. Or to put it simple: The bot registered the project and all you have (or had) to do is adjust the project's settings to your liking. The bot won't prevent you from doing so.

However, your list of edits shows that you already edited and deleted the project, possibly with the intention to get rid of it and register the project again. I'll try to undo them, so you can edit the rest as needed.

Just undid the changes as mentioned in the previous post. The only thing that remains besides some adjustments from your side is to change the manager of the project. But that is something only the Ohloh staff can do, because the current manager is inactive or a bot. So I guess that is what you were referring to with the inactive unknown guy.

As long as that manager is not removed, I don't want to update anything. How can I contact the Ohloh staff?
They don't answer on their official mail...
