I'm the maintainer of the Vexi project.
Looking at it today, as I scroll down, I see that somebody has submitted a spam link to 'SWFtoVideo converter':
https://www.ohloh.net/p/vexi/links/8000/edit
Is there any way to see who submitted the links?
Hello
These are supposed to show up in the 'History' of the project, but I don't see an entry for this link in the History of Vexi.
In fact, looking in the database, there are no history entries for this link at all! Very strange.
I looked into it more and found 29 other links to the same spam, none of them had edit history either. So sadly, I have no idea how they got there or who created them.
I've marked them all as deleted.
Found out why. The links were created on Christmas day, 2009.
Back then when accounts were marked as spammer accounts, links they created were not deleted.
In Feb. 2010 code was introduced that would also delete links created by an account you mark as a spammer.
We must not have ran any SQL to delete links from previously existing accounts marked as spammers. I'll take care of that today :)
