Hi,
Could someone take a look at VTK please? Its enlistments have been failing for 22 days now,
https://www.ohloh.net/p/vtk/enlistments
Nothing changed on our end that I know of.
Thanks,
Marcus
ParaView has also been failing for 17 days,
https://www.ohloh.net/p/3249/enlistments
CMake and some of our other projects don't seem to be affected.
Marcus,
Looks like a temporary internet-related problem for both. (Unable to look up address)
Rescheduled failed VTK job. That update ran to completion.
Paraview is rescheduled as well and is waiting in the queue. Will report back here once finished.
Thanks!
Thanks for looking into this so quickly - looks much better now.
VTK updated when you rescheduled, but does not seem to have updated since. 17 days now, whereas many other projects I work on seem to update daily. Is there an issue with the VTK enlistment?
ParaView says that it failed 7 days ago, but I am not sure why that might be. Are there any specific issues Ohloh is having with our git repositories? Thanks for looking into this before, and anything you can do to remedy the current issue.
I just noticed that Titan failed 18 days ago too,
https://www.ohloh.net/p/Titan/enlistments
These repositories are all hosted by us at Kitware, and so it would be good to know if there is any specific issue causing some of our open source repositories to fail to sync correctly.
Marcus,
Failure looks to be an intermittent error in name lookup or git access. Saw the same error on vtk.org, paraview.org, public.kitware.com. Am sending an e-mail with additional details.
Will reschedule projects as I can...
Thanks!
Marcus,
All three projects were rescheduled and are now up-to-date. Our update process is asynchronous and can occur at any time of the day or night. These particular updates seem to be exceptionally sensitive to disruptions. Also remember that each failure you see represents FOUR failures in reality including automatic retries.
Thanks!
Thanks for looking into this. If it is possible I would like to get more details on the failure mode so that we can investigate on our side too.
Thanks!
