and as observed empirically, is worthless.
For example, a guy (see http://www.ohloh.net/accounts/mfoxdogg not to pick on him particularly ) with a total of 4 commits and a bunch of kudos has a higher rank than I do, when I have 1129 commits and 1 kudo, (172 of which commits are to the linux kernel).
The weighting seems way, way off here. A meritocracy ohloh is not. Ohloh is a popularit contest, and it would seem that this is by design. Nice job assholes.
