I would like to embed some parts of my Ohloh profile into my LinkedIn profile.

For instance, either language experience, my current projects or a stack, showing the software I'm able to work with.

Hi,

I'm the new Product Manager for Ohloh. I just blogged about how to use Ohloh Widgets The blog post covers the Ohloh widgets we currently offer.

I'm on LinkedIn as well, but I didn't see a place in the LinkedIn profile that takes HTML. Otherwise, you could just drop the embed code into that section, like you could do for a blog.

In the meantime, I added a link to my Ohloh profile in my linkedin profile under Websites-Other. It's not really what you are looking for, but a start.

I like the idea of having more widgets showing various experiences of people, as you describe above, similar to project widgets. I'll definitely add this as a feature request to our product backlog.

This would be a really nice feature. You can add 'applications' to your Linkedin profile, and one of the applications currently available is GitHub. Would be nice to see Ohloh on there too.
