I noticed there was a project called jcharts
https://www.ohloh.net/p/java-charts
which is more for stocks but there is also another project which isn't on ohloh called jcarts:
http://jcharts.sourceforge.net/index.html
Originally I edited the ohloh project to say the other projects exists but I don't think this is the correct procedure. I think I should perhaps add the other project but the license is BSD which I don't know if ohloh considers this licence open source. I think it is great to have a social network to document open source projects but I wonder if just restricting what is allowed to open source is slightly restrictive.
The BSD licenses are free and open source.
The original is also free and open source. It's just not recommended because it isn't GPL compatible.
