Hi,

I need to develop a window application where in one module I have to convert a video format files such .MOV, .AVI, .VOB, .MP4 files to .TS format.

Can I use ffmpeg-sharp to do this

Or please advice me how can I do this.

I don't know a good answer to your question. If you're on a mac, check out Handbrake.

The GNU Public Licence allows you to do that, but you most keep the project free and make available the souce code if it is required.

You can use ffmpeg excutable at the beginning, and create a small gui interface that call the external binary.

I sugest that you see how openoffice based utilities are structured so that later when you include ffmpeg souce in you app someone can port it to linux.

Or you can just do the gui for windows and/or linux and use the ffmpeg binary for you operating system.

jklanka, have you succeeded in doing these conversions? Did you try out some of the suggestions here? I would really like to know because even though I hadn't thought of this type of converting before you kinda inspired me now to do this myself. So it would be awesome to hear from you again. Thanks!

Kamcoder@ If you are on Windows try getting the latest driver update for your webcam with Windows Update, then you may record at 720p and 16-24 bpp.

Another good recorder is DScaller:
