Hi all,
For one of my projects, domjudge, we've been retroactively editing the authors of commits in SVN. I was wondering if it would be possible to reimport the entire repository from scratch so that also older commits are now shown with the right author (and the author stats are updated).
We did this because we used to commit under only one username, and put our names in the commit logs (for technical reasons). We now use our own author names, and thus retroactively edited those commit authors to make things like svn annotate etc more useful, and ohloh too :-)
thanks,
Thijs
Hi Thijs,
No problem. A clean import is running now. If all goes well, the new report should be ready later today.
Thanks,
Robin
Excellent, thanks!
