Following links to 404 pages increases dl count
When a download link points to a 404 page, the dl count for the project is still bumped. That makes the dl count a bit meaningless...
In general, tracking of dead links would be useful, and people external to the project ought to be able to submit updated ones (the submit links
feature does not cover this case - see my update of the libego project as an example).
You can submit updated download URLs using the Edit/Summary
link in the project page sidebar.
If you have some specific changes you'd like, you can also let me know and I'll take care of it.
