Hiya,
Most open source projects have a parallel documentation project. While the comment ratio statistic is useful in determining how readable the source code is, comparing the amount of documentation available to the LOC count of the source would also be helpful in determining how well documented the project is.
Are there any plans for adding special support for this? Just adding the documentation repositories as additional enlistments for the project isn't a very wise thing to do.
Cheers,
Anant
Hi Anant,
Good point. We've been evaluating a project mapping
feature that would let users configure projects so that the ohloh analysis engine treats directories/enlistments differently: code / test/ external libs / documentation. Would this feature address your scenario?
Hi Jason,
The mapping feature looks useful. It would be great if you allow us to mark each enlistment of a project as code/test/libs/docs.
Looking forward to the feature!
