hi,
gstreamer (https://www.ohloh.net/p/gstreamer) was converted from cvs to git a while ago. This messed up the associations to people accounts. My account is ensonic (https://www.ohloh.net/accounts/ensonic). None of my gstreamer commits are associated with me (Stefan Kost). If I click I am this person
- I get an error You already have a position on this project. Ohloh supports only one position per project. Edit the aliases table instead.
. I don't see how the alias table can help me though.
Any ideas?
Hi ensonic,
Yes, the aliases table can't help you. Aliases only work with current names, and the CVS names are long gone.
This is an unfortunately opaque area of our user interface.
To fix this, go to your account profile page. In the Experience
section of the page, click the tiny EDIT link next to GStreamer.
This will take you to a web form where you can edit your contribution to GStreamer. Change your Committer Name
to be the new name that you use with Git. There is an auto-completer to help you pick a valid name.
Let me know if you have any trouble and I'll lend a hand.
Thanks,
Robin
Thanks a lot! That fixes it indeed.
