problem with widgets in google code wiki

Hi Berke,

One of the features of Google gadgets is that we do not have control over the width of the gadget. It is sized automatically.

However, our gadgets do render properly in most cases I've seen. It may be that some particulars of the CSS or font scaling may be causing the problem.

What browser/OS are you using? As you scale your font sizes up and down, does the problem change?

Also, when you say that you added width and height parameters to project_languages.xml, I assume that you are not being literal. project_languages.xml is returned dynamically by our web servers, and I don't see how you can modify that. I assume that you mean that you edited the wiki markup?

Thanks,

Robin

Hi Viktor,

Ugh, yes, without the sizing it looks bad on my browser as well (Mac Safari 4 Beta).

This will take some time to debug. For now, use the explicit sizing, and I'll open a bug ticket for this.

Thanks for reporting the problem,

Robin
