Hi,
For some reason my project list 2 contributors with the same name (Sergio Fierens
). One is my Ohloh user account, and the other one was parsed from the repository.
I have tried to click in the I'm this person
button, but it says that I am already member of these team, and I should use aliases. But the aliases do not work, as the name is the same.
It seems that a ticket was opened for this:
http://labs.ohloh.net/ohcount/ticket/287
But it was closed as invalid.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Sergio.
Hi Sergio,
This can happen when you switch source control systems, and the user names in the source control system are not the same as before.
It looks like in the old Subversion repository you were known as sfierens
, but in the new Git repository you are known by your full name.
You can fix this from your Ohloh account page. Click the EDIT link next to the ai4r project in the Experience section.
This will take you to a form where you can edit your contribution to this project, including the Committer Name you used to make source control commits.
Change the Committer Name to match the name you are currently using in the Git repository.
It will probably take a little while for this change to propagate through the Ohloh reports.
Let me know if you have any more problems,
Robin
Cheers, mate! That worked OK!
My kudos rank fell to 1, but I guess that needs time to be recalculated.
Regards,
Sergio.
I was wrong. The kudos seem to go from 0 to 10 and 10 is best.
