I just updated the information on a project I'm involved in, Halyard. After pointing Ohloh at our git repository and having it scanned, it has detected all of the contributors. For some reason, Ohloh seems to have given all of the contributors a kudos rank ranging from 2 to 7, except for me: Halyard contributors
Is this intended behavior? It seems odd that as the second most active contributor on the project gets no automatic kudos, while everyone else seems to get an automatic kudo rank based only only on their commits. Is this because I have an account and none of the other contributors do?
Hi Brian,
Our system doesn't allow you to give kudos to yourself.
The reason that the other contributors to this project have been ranked is because they are getting kudos from you. When you add this project to your stack, you give kudos to everyone on that project team -- except yourself.
If you want to be ranked, you'll need to have other people add Halyard to their stacks, or persuade them to give you kudos directly. :-)
Oh, OK, I get it now. I didn't realize the kudos were based on the number of users who use the project as well as the commits. Thanks!
